Description
This course taught in English provides practical, hands-on training on the fundamentals of first aid for children and infants. We’ll show you what to do if your child is choking, how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on infants, children and adults, and how to manage seizures, accidents and injuries, burns and other types of medical emergencies.
The course will cover:
- How to respond to a first aid emergency involving a baby or a child.
- How to help a baby or child who is unresponsive and breathing;
- What to do if your child has swallowed something harmful;
- How to recognize and manage early stages of the most common childhood diseases, injuries, and illnesses.
The training covers more than just serious injuries and life-threatening events. There are plenty of things that can happen to babies and children that might be frightening for parents but aren’t necessarily serious enough to merit an ambulance ride. You also will learn how to manage these types of events.
