Description
This course, taught in English, provides practical, hands-on training on the fundamentals of first aid for infants, children, and adults. We’ll show you what to do if a person is choking, how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and how to manage seizures, accidents and injuries, burns, and other essential skills to handle medical emergencies.
The Pediatric and Adult First Aid Course will cover:
- How to respond to a first aid emergency involving a baby, a child, or an adult.
- How to help a person who is unresponsive and breathing;
- What to do if someone has swallowed something harmful;
- Recognize and manage the early stages of the most common injuries, diseases, and illnesses.
However, the training covers more than just severe injuries and life-threatening events. Plenty of things may occur that might be frightening but aren’t necessarily severe enough to merit an ambulance ride. You also will learn how to manage these types of events.
