Description:
A 30-minute examination with a doctor to discuss your health history and provide the necessary information for getting a Hungarian driver’s license.
Necessary documents:
Please bring the following documents for the consultation. If they are not available, let us know before booking this appointment.
• Current/past driver’s license
• Residency permit
• Address card
• Current Passport / Hungarian ID card / diplomatic card
• Lab tests less than 12 months old from the list below [FirstMed or other Lab]
Important issues:
For those with serious illnesses, e.g., diabetes, arrhythmia, past stroke, or heart attack, a specialist consultation would be needed according to Hungarian law. Please inquire before booking your exam if any of these are applicable.
FirstMed cannot see Hungarians, who are not our regular patients, for this examination. According to Hungarian official regulations, only your family doctor (“háziorvos”) is entitled to do this medical examination.

Please note: A rebooking fee of HUF 10,000 will be assessed for: cancelling an appointment with less than 24-hours notice; not arriving for a scheduled appointment (No-Show); or not being ready to start on time.
FirstMed requests that all patients arrive at least 10 minutes before their appointment time, or 15 minutes if they are a new patient. If patients are not ready to begin the consultation on time due to their delay, the doctor may refuse the appointment, and a rebooking fee may be assessed.
Description
At the Driver’s License Medical Exam, we carry out various health checks to ensure you’re physically and mentally fit to drive. This includes a routine blood pressure test, vision and color perception examination. A specialist’s opinion may be required if you have any chronic illness. The doctor conducting the examination will also ask general health-related questions. Blood work less than 12month is needed. This offer is for patient who have lab work that is less than 12 months old. (criteria listed below)
Please bring your personal identification, and any glasses or specialist opinions if applicable.
It’s important to know that typically the responsibility of your primary care doctor to conduct this examination. Therefore, we cannot make this examination to Hungarians, who are not our regular patients.
